Squid proxy associate with /etc/hosts

It help to view the domain point with your specific IP avoid to resolve it real DNS A record in the web browser which is applied with squird proxy.

vi /etc/hosts

220.231.32.124 www.abc.com abc.com

vi /etc/squid/squid.conf

hosts_file /etc/hosts

/etc/init.d/squid restart

Then use proxy squid in web browser, and go the domain address, you will find it will go to your specific IP server, not go to real one.
